Your label looks different, has your recipe changed?
No, although we have a new label, it is the same sauce. We have always been committed to the finest quality ingredients for our original recipes and now we have updated our label to place the ingredients on the front for all to see. Victoria is the first major brand to place their ingredients on the front of the label. This also makes it easier for consumers to understand what they are buying right at the shelf vs having to read the back label.
Has the taste changed?
No, although we look different, we still use the same recipe and slow kettle cooked process. Unlike our competitors, Victoria never adds water, paste, sugar or preservatives and only uses 100% Italian tomatoes, 100% imported olive oil and fresh onion, herbs, and garlic. It’s a new label but the same sauce.
What does the phrase “Ingredients Come First” mean?
Ingredients drive taste and quality. Unlike many of our major brand competitors, we never add water, paste, sugar or preservatives and only use 100% Italian tomatoes, 100% imported olive oil and fresh onion, herbs, and garlic in our Victoria premium pasta sauce.
What is the significance of the “V” shape?
There are actually two reasons. The obvious one is the “V” design graphically stands for “Victoria” and we believe helps provide a uniquely premium and sophisticated look that also makes it more easily recognizable on the shelf.
The seal says Slow Cooked, Italian Recipe, Homemade Taste. Is that important?
Yes, all those words are relevant. The goal is to provide homemade taste in a jar to make it more convenient for our customers. This requires two things. The foundation is good Ingredients. We use an authentic Italian recipe never adding water, paste, sugar and using only 100% Italian tomatoes, 100% imported olive oil and fresh onion, herbs, and garlic. Next, unlike our competitors who use quick cooking heat transfer tubes, Victoria only uses a slow kettle cooked process, just like you would use at home. The combination makes for a superior pasta sauce that tastes homemade.
What is the significance of the Gondola?

I noticed your new jars have changed from 25 oz. to 24 oz. Why?
As the costs of Italian tomatoes has risen, we chose to maintain the integrity of our sauce and refrain from passing the added cost on to our customers. Since the most common size amongst the major brands is 24 ounce, we decided offer the same 24 ounces in order to ensure that Victoria Brand buyers would get the same great taste and quality without passing on added cost to our customers.
Are your products still Gluten Free?

Some of your vegan sauces now come in a smaller 18oz jar. Why the change?
Our vegan sauces are now all offered in the same size 18oz jar. This allows us to group the whole line together on grocery store shelves and have a uniform look and feel to all our vegan products. Victoria does not control the price you pay in the store but our price to the retailers was reduced when we reduced our jar size. Keep your eyes peeled for the next round of updates which will include an updated label for a whole new look.
What is the difference between Victoria White Linen Marinara Sauce and the original Victoria Marinara Sauce?
Victoria marinara is the original flagship product based on a generation-old recipe. Victoria White Linen was introduced in 2006.  This contemporary recipe is bright and refined with an epicurean blend of imported whole Italian plum tomatoes and domestic diced tomatoes for a robust, restaurant-style texture.
What is Calcium Chloride?
Calcium chloride is a naturally occurring salt, sometimes referred to as “pickling salt,” that helps vegetables maintain their natural firmness. It is used in many natural products including tofu, artisanal pickles, and bottled water. The diced tomatoes Victoria uses in its sauces contain small amounts of calcium chloride to aid in maintaining a hearty tomato texture.
Where can I get Victoria White Linen Marinara Sauce?
The sauce is exclusively made for Costco Nationwide and available in Canada.
